I don't get it. The theatre right next to work has a DLP projector. Episode 3 was filmed digitally and made available for DLP theatres. But is Ep3 showing on the DLP? No. What is? Nothing. Makes no sense to me.
So, the Star Wars prequels so far have been very, very pretty, but also very, very bad. Given the chance to see the pretty movie on the pretty DLP, I would've been there in an instant. But with the only choice being crummy old film, I'm pretty much indifferent.
Mini Movie Reviews
- Kung Fu Hustle - Not as retardedly stupid and unwatchable as Shaolin Soccer, but still awfully retardly stupid and unwatchable. Turned it off after 40 minutes or so versus 25 for SS.
- Casshern - Usually pretty, and seemed to have some neat concepts going on. Characters weren't fleshed out very well, and I spent most of the movie confused as to why people were doing things (and often who they were). Fell asleep near the ending; not sure I'm going to bother to go back and finish watching it.
