Yes, my fellow Georgians, it's definitely yellow-green powdered car season... I washed my car today, and only hours later, it was covered with tree pollen. *sigh*
Oh, yeah. That Ruby on Rails stuff is nice. It helped out in a pinch a few weeks ago, and hopefully I'll have time to learn some more in-depth stuff and be able to punt PHP to the curb. They just released 1.1, and dreamhost (coupon code drf) upgraded almost immediately. Unfortunately, they didn't upgrade correctly and it screwed up the app. Forunately! You can put a local copy of whichever version of rails you want in the vendor directory and it'll use that instead. Also, you can put your ruby gems in there if you don't have access to install them for everybody. I'm not going to link to any useful information about how to do those things, as I am too lazy.
