  • Having to quit playing Max Payne to rant.
  • I guess the power company has decided that returning phone calls is too hard.
  • Flickering lights.
  • Neighbors who don't like it when you kill them.

DST Friday

Hrm, I got a pretty good amount of sleep, and it's Friday, so I had some pre-weekend energy that I was going to throw into a new online app I'm making (a little e-store!), but other stuff intruded, big-time, and now I'm working 'till 9:00 at least, and none of it was on my app, and now I'm the run-on sentence mastar! Anyway, A PSA for all zero of you who read the comic, Sunday at 2:00am is the end of DST until Spring. Set your clock back an hour Saturday night :)

I'm somewhat excited about this shopping app, since I'm trying a new framework I distilled out of a couple others (php.mvc and fusebox) and simplified. Basically, the browser only goes to the index.php page and gives it an "action=foo.bar" kinda GET variable, then the index page loads the file for "foo" and calls its handler function which decides what to do and display for "bar". Anyway, I'm thinking it'll make things a little easier to code, as well as reducing duplicated code, making it easier to maintain. Too bad my friday energy was wasted on calling a credit card processing company and doing web page mockups for screenshots of something and watching commercials (yeah, for work).

Maybe I'll do that thing Matt wanted that lets him generate comics, using the two guys from this comic, from the web, automatically. hah...
