In less depressing news, I got to poke some more into Ruby on Rails recently and have been making a rails version of DrF to practice. I suppose it's much the same as how I made the original version to practice PHP. Never was a better webcomic started as a programming exercise! to my knowledge

Anyway, it's going well enough. Was having a tough time trying to work out a way to implement themes, but it turns out they have a pretty simple theme_generator plugin. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the newest rails? (1.1.4) It was easy enough to monkey around with, though, so now I have it working and am translating our current theme to RoR. I still have the whole admin side to do, though, so I guess it'll be awhile :)
