Well, all the cold seeping into my room caused me to have a somewhat longer night than usual, so I'm a mere hour late to work. I called comcast last night, and they said a supervisor would get back to me, but one never did! Pfff... Not gonna be a very good weekend if I don't have the internet to amuse me!

Called Comcast during lunch and talked to a supervisor. Learned I need to send physical mail of some kind in some manner to a P.O. Box which will then probably send me some mail blindly repeating what I've been told over the phone, so I'll have to think of some ingenious way to phrase my letter that will cause them to actually think about how they're wrong and I'm right. Hmm, maybe Clark Howard would be interested in my case, once I've gone the physical mail route and gotten blocked.

Wasn't there something lately about some court ruling that different companies could offer cable internet service on one company's line, basically the same as DSL?
