Welp, mom left town today. We had breakfast at Waffle House. I ate a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns and a glass of OJ. For lunch, I had a chicken sandwich, and for dinner, I had a bowl of soup, since no meat was defrosted... I probably should've had hot dogs, actually... they're getting surly-looking in that ziploc bag. Owel, lunch tomorrow.

After lunch, I changed into my dress pants and a dress shirt and drove to the client's office to have a meeting about a brand new project we've committed to... The management folks felt it would probably be pretty easy to alter our current order system to take orders from an imported file instead of a web shopping cart. Only problem is that this is a totally different environment for ordering, production, shipping, inventory, and invoicing than the web shopping cart, so it really needs to be nearly completely redone to suit this project, which will be starting a dry run next week and getting initial orders in mid-may! So, I guess I don't get to come home at all for the next couple weeks to a month. bleh.

Anyway, in cheerier news, class is done for the semester. We had an extra special extended edition of Knowledge Engineering today -- scheduled for 5 hours! -- that was to involve project presentations and then the final. But what happened when the presentations were complete, you ask? Why, the professor told us what a good job we'd all done and uttered that magical word -- "Dismissed." That's right, no final! Now I get a whole month without classes before summer term starts up.
